My daughter, Rasheeda, has always wanted a horse. Although we lived in Kentucky for a while, we had limited opportunity to get involved with horses.

After moving to Atlanta, Rasheeda decided it was time to get involve with horses. She enrolled her children Danny, age 13; Malissa, age eleven, and DaKari, age 7 in riding lessons.

One day she took me to the barn with her to show me her surprise. She bought a horse. Her name is Model. Now I have two generations who are obsessed with horses which became the catalyst for this Blog. A special bond seems to develop between a child and their horse. I am dedicating this Blog to all kids, regardless of age, who dream of working with horses. This Blog is also dedicated to Model and all horses like her who will provide a lifetime of joy, milestones, and growth for all who learn what it is to love a horse.
